Steve Harvey Full of Emotion
This is a great video where Steve Harvey gets surprised on his show. His reaction in this video is fascinating to watch because at first you don't know what is going on. You can see Steve is getting overwhelmed but he is tense so you can't help but wonder if this a positive connection or a negative one.
What is the first time you know before Steve says a word if this is a positive or negative experience for him?
Stop reading this if you want to look and come back.
Granted, the stranger in the video says, "Do you still love me baby?" so you get a huge hint there, but Steve's reaction really makes you wonder if he feels the same way, doesn't it? So at what point does he confirm this is a positive experience for him?
At point thirty-three into the video, Steve turns his head and as he does there is a very slight upturn of the lips (very slight) and then five seconds later (point thirty eight), we see sadness envelope Steve in the eyes. They droop dramatically. Then a second or two later the tears come and his eyebrows, while very bushy, go oblique.
When his friend says, "I'm waiting for my answer buddy" I'm on the tip of my toes. What is Steve going to say? He then lifts his eyebrows, which shows his second positive response, and third, the tone of his voice cues up positively when he says back, "Hey man".
When Steve starts talking about his struggles, you can feel the pain in voice, can't you?
This is a great emotional video, and a beautiful story about how one man helped out another in need and Steve never forgot that.
I have had three absolutely beautiful human beings support me in my efforts to share my abilities with others. When I thought no one would ever see what I could do or ever believe in me, these three men did and it has been through their constant belief in me, support and encouragement that doors and opportunities have opened for me. I saw one of them yesterday and the other back in November. One I have yet to meet, but I am looking forward to the day I get too. These three men believe in me, give me confidence and encourage me when I need a lift and even when I don't. Their spirits have each touched me deeply and I value them tremendously. They have been so generous and kind to me. I will always be grateful.
My three heros are Steve, Demetri and Daren. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for believing in me. Your support means the world to me, and I will never, ever forget what you three have done for me. I only hope I can return your generous spirit back to you in other ways...
