There is a new woman of interest in the disappearance of Kyron Horman. Her name is DeDe Spicher. She has been in close contact with Terri Horman since Kyron's disappeared and news reports are saying that Spicher is telling people not to cooperate. Apparently, Spicher has been giving Terri Horman support and advice since Kyron went missing.

Gym owner, Bob Briede, who owns Extreme Edge Fitness, the gym where Kaine Horman works out, said to Fox news that he saw Terri Horman at the gym acting suspiciously. He called her "stone-faced". Briede said that Terri approached a woman at the childcare center and said some alarming things, which prompted him to call police.
Briebe says to Fox, "Her behavior was definitely suspicious and I felt it justified making a phone call to the authorities...Her behavior was just odd."
Fox also reports that investigators are now searching the area around Skyline school again.

We get our first look at Michael Cook in this video, though I can't say much except that I get a sense that he is an easy-going, laid back guy. If Terri flirted him, he probably was lured in by it, sadly. You have to wonder did Terri make Michael feel sorry for her?
I found the statement made by the retired investigator interesting. He said, "If Terri Horman is the girl next door, you live in a pretty creepy neighborhood."

There seems to be a lot going on in the Kyron Horman case today--more trouble for Terri. Kaine Horman filed a court motion for contempt, asking the court to hold Terri Horman in contempt of court. She has apparently shared sealed court documents with people when she was forbid to do so.
In the motion filed today, Kaine has been informed by law enforcement that Terri has been having an affair with a high school friend of Kaine, named Michael Cook. The court document says that Terri showed court documents, which contained Kaine's new residence to Cook and had him take cell phone pictures of them. According to records, Cook then used the information to search for Kaine's current address on Google.
Kaine also learned according to the motion that was filed today that Terri is in a sexual relationship with Michael Cook. The motions says that LE backs this as they have had interviews with Cook himself.
Was is disturbing is the police have supporting materials including "Respondent [Terri Horman] in various stages of undress and graphic sexual activity" from Cook.
Police have told Kaine's attorney that Terri's behavior is similar to how she treated the landscaper in the murder-for-hire plot...The motion says, "sexual overtures to Mr. Cook resemble those man to a man Respondent previously attempted to hire to murder Petitioner."
It gets even more disturbing. Terri looked to abduct Kiara from the daycare gym when Kaine worked out.

Could postpartum psychosis be the reason Terri Horman has behaved the way she has? It's certainly an interesting question. According to Louann Brizendine, a neuropsychiatrist, out of the 10 or 20 women develop postpartum depression, one in a 1000 mothers go on to develop this serious mental illness of psychosis, where they lose touch with reality.

I asked Steve Kardian to share his thoughts on the latest developments in the Terri Horman case [Terri offers money to kill Kaine]:
This new development answers a lot of questions that were raised last Thursday, when Desiree Young, with Kyron's dad and her husband standing behind her, made an emotional plea to Terri Horman before television cameras -- the family's first public statements directed at Kyron's stepmom since the boy disappeared a month ago.
Last week I mentioned that law enforcement would not share investigative findings, regarding Kryon, with the family unless there was a safety issue clearly identified. This was apparently the case.
Regarding the unidentified landscaper, law enforcement (LE) and the District Attorney's office will need to corroborate the information the landscaper provided. Two complications are the fact that the landscaper did not come forward with this information when this originally happened six or seven months ago. Even a bad attorney will have a field day with this. Second, we do not know the credibility of the landscaper and or if he has an arrest record or any questionable dealings.
The fact that Terri has lawyered up has removed any opportunity for LE to solicit information or a confession from her.
This is a sensitive case, a national case and an emotional case. LE and the prosecutor have done a good job keeping this close to the vest and they will want to go forward gingerly and build a solid case should this all be true.

Things have just gotten weird in the Kyron Horman case. I don't think anyone saw this one coming.
According to OregonLive.com, news has surfaced that Terri offered a landscaper money to kill her husband, Kaine, six to seven months before Kyron disappeared. The landscaper worked for the Hormans and just recently came forward.
Oregon Live writes, "She reportedly offered the landscaper, who advertises his expertise in lawn care, a large sum of money to carry out the scheme, sources say."
It was this news that police gave to Kaine that made him move out of the family home, file for divorce and to get a restraining order against Terri to see their daughter last Saturday. If you want my opinion, Kaine never saw this coming by the way he stood beside his wife in the first presser.
Ironically, Terri denies that she ever did this.
The thought of this is so eerie. I can only imagine what it has done to Kaine. Sadly, this doesn't bode well for Kyron at all. You can read more here.

Desiree Young pleas for Kyron Horman's return today on Oregon's Fox 12. You can watch it here. Desiree says:
Kyron is still alive. We would like all of you, everyone, to continue to get his face out there, to continue looking for him in your day-to-day activities. We pray each day for Kyron. We are working with investigators daily to bring Kyron home. We are extremely confident in how the investigation is going to bring him home to us. We implore Terri Horman to fully cooperate with the investigators to bring Kyron home.
You have to wonder if the police have recently found some evidence that Kyron may indeed still be alive. Desiree's emotions are sure supportive of being overwhelmed by some "new" news.
Let's hope they bring Kyron home and that Terri cooperates once and for all!

Terri Horman, according to the Today Show, has hired a prominent defense attorney, Stephen Houze. People are speculating she is an unnamed, number one suspect in the case of missing Kyron Horman. Kyron disappeared from Skyline Elementary school outside of Portland, Oregon, on June 4, 2010.
NBC also has more details on the 911 calls that came from the Horman home Saturday, June 26. One call was made regarding someone being physically threatened, and the second, hours later, was over a custody issue, says NBC.

Many people are wondering what sparked the divorce proceedings and restraining order from Kaine. I read today at OregonLive.com, that a 911 call came from the Horman home at 5:46 PM this past Saturday regarding "threats".
In Kaine's petition for the divorce, he put "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.
I wonder if things came to a head Saturday night.

According to KATU.com, Kaine Horman was granted a restraining order against his soon-to-be ex-wife, Terri Moulton Horman, to keep her away from their 18-month old daughter, Kiara.
Kaine has left the family home. How sad...

News is out today that Kaine Horman has filed for divorce from Kyron Horman's step-mom, Terri Moulton Horman, yesterday. According to the AOL report, Terri's dad is staying with her to offer support, but her daughter is not at the house with her, but is at another location.
These are all foreboding signs that everyone has reason to doubt Terri Horman's story.
According to People Magazine, Kaine Horman moved out in the last two days, and Terri's father says there is a "50/50" chance she will get arrested. Police have interviewed Terri for long stretches and have inspected her truck twice.
Kyron Horman disappeared on June 4, 2010, after Terri Horman says she took a photo of him in front of his science fair and said goodbye to him in the hallway. Police have asked Terri to take two lie detector tests, though the results have not been made public. They also passed out a flyer with Terri's photo on it and a photo of her truck to help jog people's memories.

Kyron Horman's biological parents, Desiree Young and Kaine Horman, did the media rounds today hitting all the networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX). They answered questions by the media about his disappearance on June 4, 2010. This is the first time Kyron's biological mother, Desiree Young, has spoken.
I do not see any hot spots in these videos or things that clue me in anything substantial, unfortunately. I was surprised to see Kaine say that his wife, Terri, is working passionately to bring Kyron home, like the rest of the family, at which point, in one of the interviews, Desiree, nodded her head in agreement and says yes. I don't quite know what to make of it. It could have meaning, or they could have been asked to keep pressure off of Terri in the media, because they don't talk or deny that she has been looked at as a person of interest. So, at this point, I can't put anything into it.

Terri Horman's long time friend since junior high school, Jaymie Finster, says Terri is scheduled to take a 2nd polygraph today. According to OregonLive.com, Jaymie said, "She [Terri] is not very happy about it."

Video of Multnomah County Sheriff's Capt. Jason Gates speaking about the Kyron Horman case
Today the Multnomah County Sheriff's Capt. Jason Gates spoke out to the media about updates on the Kyron Horman case. He talked about a flyer/questionnaire that is being passed around to the students, teachers, faculty and staff of Skyline Elementary School which asks questions about Terri Horman and Kyron Horman on June 4, 2010. Law enforcement is hoping the flyer can jog people's memories. To see more about the flyer, click here.
Unfortunately, I do not analyze law enforcement or attorneys, because I respect the job they do and need to do, and I don't see anything positive coming from my assessments. I hope you understand.

Police aren't saying if Terri Horman is a person of interest, but they are passing out a flyer in hopes of getting more information from people who were at the Skyline Elementary school on June 4, 2010. The flyer shows photos of Terri and Kyron Horman as well as the vehicle Terri was driving that day.

Kyron Horman, photo taken June 4, 2010 Prime Writer News Network has released an article an hour ago stating that the focus for little Kyron Horman has shifted to his step-mother, Terri Moulton Horman, who was last seen with Kyron. They report that they are getting their news from the Williamette Week, which I suspect is a local Oregon paper.
I have had two "offline" updates on the case as well that something is brewing with Terri, but I don't want to share the details I have heard as I don't want to jeopardize what law enforcement is trying to achieve.

It's 10 days since second-grader Kyron Horman was last seen as school. Investigators have now scaled by the search and rescue, and are calling this a criminal investigation.
