I sat down to eat dinner the other night. I made my husband his favorite -- roasted tomatoes with linguine. He sat down and for the first time in a long time, he rubbed his hands together. I grinned and said to him, "You know what that means?" He looked at me and smiled. I said it means you are really excited about what you are going to eat, it's like your hands are salivating for you!"
When people do that gesture, it usually means they are very excited and happy about what is before them. It could also mean they have cold hands.

Leonard Rizzo claims that he simply woke up one morning and his wife, Monika, was gone. Monika had not gone to work in over a week, and was supposedly home sick, yet he never reported her disappearance to the police. All of her belongings including her car where found at home.
Subsequently, police found not only Monika's bones in his backyard, but the bones of three other woman. Experts suspect a wood chipper was used to break the bones down to the size they were found in Rizzo's yard.
Read moreHere are my thoughts about Leonard Rizzo's statements on Unsolved Mysteries. I feel most people will see the truth in this case, but I was asked to share my thoughts on it regardless so I am doing so.
It's a huge red flag that Rizzo didn't report his wife, Monika, missing. When we love and care for people, we have concerns when they "disappear". We look for them. We call friends and family, co-workers, anyone we can think of , yet Rizzo did not. It's highly suspect.
I find it interesting that Monika's supervisor, Gilbert Saenz, said that Monika told them she wasn't feeling well, yet Leonard speaks nothing about this. If your wife has been sick for over a week and then she disappears, most people would be very concerned.
Rizzo says, "I was very confused. I was, ah, it made no sense."
So then why didn't he seek answers? He continues, "My wife and I were really close, there was no reason to believe she wouldn't be coming back....wherever she had gone...ah...I just...I...I...have faith in her. I just.....chose to wait."
What is fascinating about this statement is that it is a complete contradiction. If you are really close to your wife and she doesn't come home, you get concerned, because if you are close, you always know what the other is doing, right? Also notice Rizzo is stuttering as he talks, which is highly suggestive he is thinking on his feet instead of talking from the heart.
Rizzo says, "These bone fragments that are in my yard are an absolute mystery to me, as big a mystery as my wife's disappearance. Uh...to me, ther...to me there's no question, to me, I'm .....someone is trying to draw attention from themselves. Someone is doing this to me."
Could the person trying to draw attention "from themselves" be Rizzo? That is an odd statement. Why wouldn't he say in anger, "I think someone is trying to frame me!" Is that hard for him to say because he knows its not the truth? It's a little too close to home?
It sounds like a laugh slips out when Rizzo says "These bone fragments that are in my yard...". If you don't hear it, listen to him speak without watching the video. It becomes very clear. Also, watch how Rizzo has a lot of false starts. These are common when people are thinking as they speak, not talking genuinely about what they really feel. Its suggestive of deception--especially compounded with the fact what he says is inconsistent and not logical.
Rizzo continues, "Basically, uh, I just got very, very emotional about missing her...and...attempted to beat up the house, I guess you could say. Uh, the house won. I got the worst end of it."
Rizzo wants us to believe he didn't worry about his wife missing because they were close, yet he got so emotional he beat up the house? This is nonsense if I ever heard it. It's a completely inconsistent. If he was that emotional, he would have asked for help, if he was uninvolved, but he didn't.
I wonder if the police asked Rizzo to substantiate his supposed injuries from beating up the house. Did Rizzo have any injuries that supported his story that he "beat" the walls or did they not question him in time?
The fact that officers saw Monika with bruises on her face before her disappearance is supportive of the fact that Rizzo was likely abusive of Monika, which does not bode well for Rizzo, either.
Rizzo talks like a drone when he says, "There was no domestic abuse, there was no domestic violence. My wife and I were deeply in love, we are deeply in love. We've been married...26 years going on 27 years and that's a long time."
Yes, Rizzo changes his tense, which is a hot spot. Why does he flip-flop? Does he know that Monika was dead and that is why he did this?
I find the statement "that's a long time" interesting when talking about the time he was married to Monika. When people lose loved ones, they usually idolize them more than ever and only focus on the positive. He seems to feel he was married "forever," as if it was a big negative. It flags me.
Rizzo do not show any sympathy, compassion or concern for his wife at all. He doesn't wonder or want to find out who might have killed her. Do you notice? It's oddly missing, if he is innocent.
I love when Rizzo says, "I've never rented anything in a rental store......uh...(shaking his head no) other than a car dolly, maybe a trailer." This is funny. He makes an affirmative statement and then realizes he might get caught so he back paddles. His head shake gives him away, too. Interesting, isn't it? Rizzo also swallows awkwardly here, which is a sign he is very uncomfortable. Why would he be uncomfortable if he is being honest?
Rizzo says at the end, "I... did... not... kill...(big sigh -- a sign of nervousness)...those people... whose bones are in my backyard (slight chuckle?) or anyone else. For that matter.....the...those bone fragments and such...where they came from, I don't know. I don't know where they came from and I did not kill them or anyone else."
Sadly, I see nothing in this interview that makes me even remotely believe in Leonard Rizzo. I think Leonard Rizzo knows exactly what happened to these people.

Seeing this on the news that 1 in 5 people believe that President Barack Obama is Muslim is downright scary. Where do people get their information? Having watched President Obama, I just want to say that he is being honest when he says he is Christian. To have to even say that, if you ask me, is absurd.
Misinformation on this level disturbs me. It is precisely these people that I or anyone could sell a big bridge to.

Mary Bale may actually lose her job if the customers at the Royal Bank of Scotland get their way. Customers are making it loud and clear they do not want to be served by Mary and if they are, they will go elsewhere for their services.
Mary responded to the comments from customers, "I've already been worried about losing my job because of the recession, but now it's a near certainty. The public see me every day when I serve them. How can I hide away from that? There's nothing I can do. How will they react when they see me? This is going to be dreadful. My whole life will be turned upside-down" (source).
I do not think Mary Bale's apology was sincere. You can read my thoughts about it here.

Mary Bale, the woman who cold-heartedly dropped a cat in the garbage can, and who was caught on video surveillance, speaks to the media briefly today. She is just chillingly cold.
Mary doesn't show any shame, remorse, embaressment, or anything emotion that shows she is regretful for what she did. She is, on the contrary, confident which doesn't bode well for her character, if you ask me, considering what she has done.
The BBC says she released a statement and in it they report that she says, "I cannot explain why I did this, it is completely out of character and I certainly did not intend to cause any distress to Lola or her owners. It was a split second of misjudgement that has got completely out of control."
I find her statement interesting. Her split second decision "has got completely out of control". It sounds as if she is insinuating that the "reaction" by people is completely out of control, not her actions. She isn't saying that she was out of control, is she?
I'm not buying this woman is seriously sorry for her actions. Not one instant. She's missing the emotions we would expect to see if she is truly regretful as she says and worse, we see arrogance, which should be void if she is regretful, sorry, embarrassed, ashamed, etc.

ABC has what appears to be a fascinating show on tonight at 10 ET/9 CST on brutal psycho-killer minds. I just saw it and it appears to be a mini-series, with the first episode airing last week (which I happened to miss).
In this segment, Dr. Adrian Raine, a neurocriminologist at the University of Pennsylvania, talks about the brain of a psychopath.
"One of the key differences that we find in the brains of psychopaths is that there is a structural impairment to the part of the brain called the amygdala," he explained. "This is the part of the brain very much involved in the generation of emotions. It was structurally deformed in the psychopaths."

An English woman took a cat and dumped it in a garbage can, but thankfully his owner got the event on video tape and rescued the cat 15 hours after it happened, before the cat was unloaded into a garbage truck.
What does the 45-year-old banker have to say about it?
"I thought it would be funny," says Mary.
To bad she doesn't realize her actions and behavior on the hidden camera give her true intentions away. Isn't it amazing what body language, and behavior say even without words?
If she was any decent human being at all, she'd at least fess up to her cold and callous sins, instead of tell us the rubbish she thought it would be funny. That's no laughing matter. One thing is for sure, you get what you give in this world and Mary is getting hers now -- infamy for being a cold heart beast. It is the cat that is loved!

News outlets are reporting that that police in Sydney are looking to find the source of six cash payments of $500 and $600 made to Kristi Abrahams and Robert Smith in the weeks leading up to Kiesha's disappearance.
This is an interesting twist in the case. If the news stories are true, everyone will be questioning if Kiesha's mum and step-dad sold their daughter in exchange for money. Could she have been sold into the sex trade?
It's horrible to think about.

Kristi Abrahams' behavior in this video is remarkable. Here is a woman who tells us that it is too much for her to care for her two children and search for her missing daughter. Yet look at how lighthearted she is in front of the camera. She smiles as she holds her son and points out the camera to her little girl. She certainly doesn't appear to be overwhelmed, does she?
Kristi then goes on to complain how she can't even take her kids to the park or even go to a shop to buy bread or milk. Kristi is asked why and she replies, "Because people are judging us." Obviously Kristi feels it is not too much to go to the store or the park, she just simply can't do it because she is being judged. She is so inconsistent, she doesn't even see it. If she can take her kids to the store or the park, she can take them out and organize searches for her daughter, or pass out buttons, fliers, t-shirts, etc.
Worse, if you notice, this is all about Kristi and not about Kiesha. It's horrifying to watch Kristi in this video.
Of the two people here, Kristi is much more lighthearted than Robert. He seems to be bearing a huge weight on his shoulders, where Kristi doesn't not. Yet she is the biological parent. That is quite noteworthy in of itself.
The police spokesperson said at the end, "I think you've got to expect the worst." I see nothing at this point that gives me hope, sadly. I have doubted that these parents are telling us all they know, and I have doubted have since the first time I saw them speak to the media.

Blago hasn't changed a day, but of course, we wouldn't expect that. If you want to know what I think of this interview, look at another one I analyzed of him. He is the master at deflection, ignoring the questions, and pointing the finger instead of talking about his own accountability. He still wants us to believe he talked about things, but never had the intention to act on them. Yeah, right. Anyone want to buy a bridge?
I love how he tells us his team never mounted a defense. Why didn't they? Is it because they didn't have one?
If you want my opinion, the fact Blago got off with the first jury with only one count, he is fooling himself he will get off a second time. He was lucky there was one hold out juror!

CBS Crimesider is reporting that Julie Ann Gonzalez's (pictured left) estranged husband, George De La Cruz, is a person of interest in her disappearance.
CBS reports that a search warrant reveals that the police have found some pretty incriminating evidence against De La Cruz including Gonzalez' car keys, a debit card used after her disappearance as well as droplets of blood, fibers and human tissue at De La Cruz' residence.
They also report that De La Cruz was seen using Gonzalez' debit card on surveillance after she was missing to buy a video game for their daughter.
I reviewed an interview with George De La Cruz on May 7, 2010, on the Jane Velez-Mitchell show, before anyone else, and clearly found George's story to be questionable. Click here to see what I had to say about it. Photo courtesy of: http://www.julieanngonzalez.com/

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Kristi Abrahams, mother of missing Kiesha, 6, says she has two other kids to look after that is why she isn't participating in searches.
The Telegraph also reports that, "Homicide detectives said Ms Abrahams and her partner Robert Smith were asked to be part of the renewed appeal for information but the pair said they were 'busy'."
This is such sad news. I am sure many people have volunteered to help the family during this difficult time and if they wanted to search, surely they could...
It doesn't bode well for this family. Here are my original thoughts of Kristi Abrahams, when I first saw her speak at a press conference a few weeks back. I believe they know a lot more than they are telling, sadly.

News surfaced this week that Misty Croslin has told investigators that Joe Overstreet came to her house the night Haleigh disappeared and stuffed a screaming Haleigh in a "black bag" and drove off with her in a van. Misty says while this happened, she and junior hid behind the covers. You can read more here at the Orlando Sentinel.
Misty has come up with so many stories, it's ridiculous. Just reading the story, I see red flags. Why on earth wouldn't Misty and Ronald have stuck to this story from the beginning if this was the truth? What motivation would they have to lie about this, if they are uninvolved? It makes absolutely no sense.
Of course, I haven't watched Misty make this statement, so until I do, I can't draw any conclusions, but this story is highly suspect, if you ask me based on logic alone.
I suspect if this was the truth, we would have heard it a long time ago.

I thought it would be fun to see where all of the readers of Eyes for Lies come from, so this past Spring, I asked my readers to let me know where they read my blog.
Eyes for Lies has readers from all around the world. While I know I have readers on every continent, I still haven't received photos from all of them. Is your continent covered? How about your city or town?
Louana is a long time reader of my blog and she has taken photos in Japan when she lived there, and she recently went to her homeland of the Netherlands and sent me these photos on her way to her new home in San Francisco, so hopefully we get some photos of San Francisco, too! Thanks for participating Louana.
It's been a blast seeing all of you, my readers! I hope you, too, will participate! We want to see where you read Eyes for Lies!

Cindy Anthony was on the Today show last week and I was asked to review the video for all the apparent lies. It doesn't take any talent to see that Cindy is having a hard time with the truth, and can't face it, but is she doing this intentionally or is this an unconscious coping mechanism?
Read moreThe topic about whether Cindy is intentionally lying is highly debated and I can confidently say to you that the more emotional you feel about this subject, the more likely are to believe that Cindy Anthony is absolutely lying, but I don't believe that. I don't believe Cindy's clearer-than-day denial of the truth are her attempts to deceive the public. Rather I believe she is talking like this because it is a coping mechanism--because it is too hard to face the truth. It's too much to bear. I believe Cindy Anthony is in denial. The American Psychological Association defines denial like this:
Denial represents a basic or primitive psychological defense mechanism by which a person or persons unconsciously rejects some or all of the meanings of an event or situation. Through denial, an individual or even a group of individuals (loved ones, friends, colleagues) avoid awareness of some painful aspect or aspects of reality (health issues, financial issues, relationship issues) in order to decrease anxiety or other unpleasurable emotions such as guilt or shame (1).
George, on the other hand I suspect knows the truth, but loves Cindy and is trying to support her however he can.
Mental health expert, Jim West, talks about how Cindy Anthony could be in denial as well.

Blagojevich arrives at the Dirksen Federal Building yesterday while the jury deliberates in his corruption trial
This is an interesting facial expression by Rod Blagojevich. He is normally a tense, uptight person, but here his face is soft and relaxed. It's an unusual facial expression for Blago to make so I thought I would point it out.

I once bought a mattress at a custom mattress shop. I was excited. It had a 15 year warranty, but sadly within the first year and half, the mattress failed. It was so bad, I couldn't ignore my backache anymore, so I called the company to honor their warranty.
Read moreThe warranty process was a nightmare. The salesman was really good at leading people astray and frustrating them. At first he denied there was a problem at all and tried to blame me, but when I could give him photos that clearly showed the problem, he backed down.
Then what he would do is say, "Well there is a problem, but what would you like me to do about it?"
I'd firmly tell him replace the mattress. But he would go on to say, "What part?"
I started to fall for this, but then I realized if I told him what needed to be replaced and I was wrong, because I was not an expert, he would blame me when it failed again. I wasn't going there! I quickly retorted back, "Whatever needs to be fixed so I don't have a sag. I want a mattress that supports me like I paid for and was promised I would get."
The guy became frustrated with me that I didn't fall into his "gotcha hole" of telling him what to do, so we went round and round. He was clearly trying to wear me out, but he soon realized I wasn't going away. I had to write two registered letters to finally get him to take my mattress. Finally after many weeks of going back and forth, he agreed to pick it up and give me a replacement. I thought I was going to get relief.
I was then asked to go to the shop and pick a new mattress style and firmness. My husband and I took the job very seriously and picked a mattress that was of similar quality and firmness to what we already had. I like a firm mattress. The next week, they delivered it.
I was so thrilled until I went to bed. The mattress was rock solid, harder than a brick -- I kid you not. I about died. I had never felt a mattress like this before. It was surreal, like something out of a nightmare. I had tears streaming down my face that night as I compared that mattress to the floor. The floor with my wool rug was actually softer. If you think I am joking, I am not. I slept on the floor that night.
Sleeping on the floor that night made me one mad woman, let me tell you. I thought about it all night long and devised my plan. I wasn't going to let this guy get away with this deception!! I knew for a fact not one mattress in his entire store was as firm was what he delivered to me. I was outraged.
I got up in the morning, and instead of calling the store where I bought my mattress, I called around to other stores in the chain. I told them I was looking to buy the mattress that was supposedly delivered to me (I had a name). I asked them what layers of foam and cotton were put into that mattress. They told me. I could see examples online. I then asked if they had a cut out of the mattress, if I went in the store to see what the layers looked like, so I could feel them. They said yes. Then I asked them if they were to make the mattress more firm, what would they add? They told me layers of cotton.
So now I had educated myself on exactly what I was sold, so if I had something different, I could clearly prove it. My thought was this: If this guy was deceptive, which I knew he was --selling me one product and switching it for something else--I could prove it. Hands down. I knew what he sold me was likely my old mattress stuffed with more wood. My mattress ended up being 3" taller than the model I supposedly bought the first time and the replacement. That in itself was a dead giveaway that I was being hosed!
I now had all the information I needed to call this guy out.
I called up the shop later that morning and I said my mattress wasn't what I ordered. There must have been a mistake. The sales guy got on the phone with me and told me it was no mistake. That was the mattress I ordered. We went back and forth a few times. It was clear he was trying to pull the wool over my eyes so I laid out my plan to catch him at his game.
I told him I knew he was being deceptive and playing games with me and I wasn't going to stand for it. I told him I was going to cut open my mattress, video tape it and then compare it to the floor models and cut-outs at other stores and online photos. If he was being less than honest and stuffed my mattress with other items and it was not the product I ordered, I was going to expose his lies publicly.
Guess what? I had a check in my hands with 12 hours for the full price of that mattress and the mattress was removed immediately. The salesman came and personally delivered the check and got rid of the evidence! He got caught in his scam and he knew it. I got my money back, thank you!
The next time you feel you are being taken advantage of...think hard about how you can prove the truth. It will serve you well.

You don't have to know who these two men are to know that they are (a) enjoying their conversation together and (b) that they like each other. Notice how each of their torsos are facing each other, that their heads are turned towards each other as well and they are both leaning into each other?
The man on the left appears to be entertained by the man on the right, who is obviously leading the conversation at this point.
This is Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov on the right, and his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres on the left.

When I watch Mia Farrow and Naomi Campbell speak, I believe Mia Farrow. While Mia seems nervous, it is not an indication of deception or a concern for me. She is genuine and authentic, even though she struggles at times.
Read moreNaomi Campbell, however, is giving us a ridiculous story that when she stayed at Nelson Mandela's house, two men knocked on her door and gave her this gift of two "dirty diamonds", yet she tells us she didn't know who they were from. That's absolute rubbish, if you ask me.
People don't just hand out diamonds anonymously, no matter how beautiful you are. Sorry, Naomi. I'm just not buying it.
If Naomi was staying at Nelson Mandela's house, why didn't she wonder if they came from Mandela himself, if as she says, she didn't know who they were from? Isn't that what you'd wonder if you were a guest at his house and someone knocked on your door when you were there?
I think anyone can speculate that there is tight security at Mandela's house and that the diamonds had to come from within the compound or were brought in by someone known and cleared -- not two strange men in the night. The people there that night had to know who could do this, don't you think?
If Naomi was honest and decent, surely she would have speculated about who gave her these, so she could thank the person, but she didn't and doesn't, strangely.
Also Carole White, Campbell's ex-agent, testified that she was with Campbell the night she received these blood diamonds, that she invited the guys in and she was disappointed the diamonds didn't sparkle. That sure fits Campbell's demeanor, if you ask me.
Just a few months ago, ABC news interviewed Naomi Campbell and she denied ever getting diamonds. Hello! She has a history of deception, arrogance and an uncontrollable temper.
The fact that Naomi is "inconvenienced" is an outrage, too. I can't think of a nice thing to say of this woman.
Mia Farrow, on the other hand, has been an activist for people in Africa for many years and she has won awards for her service to those less fortunate. From Wikipedia, "In 2008, Farrow received three awards; the France Legion of Arts and Lettres award, the Refugees International McCall-Pierpaoli Humanitarian Award for "extraordinary service to refugees and displaced people" and the Tiannamen Square Award."
I always say let arrogance be a reminder to be wary, and let humility ease your fears, and in this case, it takes no exception.

ABC News Australia is reporting that Robert Smith, the partner (and step-dad?) of Kristi Abrahams, is saying that the police are pointing their fingers squarely at him. He said they have asked him to lead them to her body, yet he denies killing Kiesha. You can read more on ABC's website here.
I am not surprised by this, and while I don't know who is responsible for Kiesha going missing specifically, I do not trust that her mother and partner are being forthright with us. You can read my reviews of their two media interviews here and here.

When I watch the Kelley Cannon interview with ABC's 20/20, these are my thoughts: Read more
Kelley tries to give Jim Avila on 20/20 a new theory about what she thinks happened to her husband Jim, and who wore those gloves found outside the crime scene. We don't get to see Kelley talk much about it as Jim Avila introduces it, but Kelley wants people to believe that she didn't call 911 or testify because she was protecting her husband. She wants us to believe that Jim had a private life that no one knew about, that he drank and had "rough sex" with strangers. Hence, according to her, she believes it was a stranger who likely wore those gloves and killed Jim. It's so outlandish, its humorous. Kelley Cannon is very desperate, which we see on her face.
If this is true, we can be sure he had to "meet" these "strangers" somewhere, so other people would be talking or at minimum there would be a paper trail that supports this as well (phone calls, receipts for bars, nightclubs, etc) because remember these were "strangers". So if this is what she believed all along, then why didn't she come up with supporting evidence to her theory? I suspect because she knows it doesn't exist!
Furthermore, why would she protect a man who had a restraining order on her, and who was trying to get full custody of her kids? Does that make any sense? One cannot argue that she kept the "secret" to protect the kids (which would have been a better excuse, frankly) because if that is true, she sacrificed herself for her kids, which makes no sense. Now the kids have no parents, so we know that is a line of B.S. Kelley seems to come up with the most outlandish rubbish whenever it suits her! She is so contorted in this interview, because she desperately wants to be believed. If you ask me, she can't handle that her old tricks aren't working anymore!
Listen when the detectives ask Kelley if Jim ever beat her. She pauses before answering and then says "Yeah" in what I would consider an upbeat tone -- similar in sound to how someone might say a question. This is notable and a common tone for deceptive people. When the detective asks if she ever filed a police report, listen to her say much softer and more down tone "No."
The way Kelley says "Yeah" and "No" are notable to me. It's the way she inflects that clues me in that she is not being honest. Furthermore, if this was the truth, why isn't she volunteering to the detective how he beat her? Notice she doesn't give him any substantiating information. Why? Surely if she was beaten, other people would have seen telltale signs but no one supports poor Kelley.
Kelley tells us she didn't file any police reports of the beatings because she was scared of Jim. I find that flat out laughable. She was so afraid of him that she threatened him once when he was in his car with the kids, and it was Jim that called 911. They played the call on 20/20. She sure was scared, wasn't she? And then the night Jim was murdered, she tells us she went to Jim's house --even though there was a restraining order on her. That's shows fear, doesn't it? Give me a break! This woman is terrible at her game.
When Jim Avila starts speaking to Kelley, look at how tense she is. She is showing incredible tension. Watch her let out a breath of air as she talks to Jim Avila. If she is innocent, why is she so tense? She clearly contorts her face. I think it is because she is trying to see if she can convince us of her "new" story. Not.
Kelley says, "I didn't do this and for some reason or another, nobody's interested in finding out who did." Why isn't she interested, if she is innocent? She is throwing out empty, meaningless words here.
Listen to how Kelley talks about herself about being at Walgreens. "That's just B.S. That's somebody else..no. That's that girl he had the affair with."
I think everyone can see that is Kelley in the surveillance video. It shows Kelley will lie whenever it suits her. Also, it is ironic that she talks that Jim had an affair with a "girl" here yet she told the cops at one point he was "queer". Another inconsistency. Kelley is inconsistent on a regular basis.
When Jim Avila asks Kelley if she killed her husband, we see tears. I suspect these are tears of self-pity, personally. She says somberly, "No". Why isn't she mad when she is asked this, if she is innocent?
Then Jim Avila asks her if she knows who did it (murdered Jim), and she says in a controlled and muted angry tone, "No." She doesn't want people to know she is angry here, but her voice gives her away. She is angry she can't point the finger at someone else!
Wait a minute. She doesn't know who did it? In my first point above, didn't she tell Jim Avila that she suspected she knew who the gloves belonged to? She hinted strongly there that it was one of his stranger sex partners. Why isn't she sticking to that here? Kelley flip-flops worse than a pair of shoes walking down the street of the same name.
This jury absolutely called this one right. It's no surprise they returned a verdict in 55 minutes. Good going, jury. This woman needs to be exactly where she is!!

Kiesha Abraham's mom, Kristi, spoke out to the media again today this time telling the media in a sobbing voice, "They need to stop judging me. They don't know me." The video then cuts to a snippet where she reveals her face. She continues and talks about memories of her daughter, "She was funny, she was always happy. She loved animals."
What strikes me at this point is this is all about Kristi, and not about finding her daughter. Most mothers would careless about the finger being pointed at them by the public, if they know they are innocent. They wouldn't get weepy--instead they would be crusading to find their daughter at all costs, and mad that the public has it wrong -- that they must find the little girl, but this is eerily missing from Kristi.
Why isn't she showing us more photos of Kiesha, trying to get the public to help find her daughter? Why isn't she encouraging people to search for her? Is she searching herself or organizing searches? Or is she just feeling sorry for herself at her daughter's expense?
Furthermore, why isn't she talking directly to her daughter in case she is out there? Why isn't she being strong for her, if she believes she was abducted and still could be alive? At six years old, Kiesha would certainly understand her. Her lack of hope is just very odd and usual.
Read my original thoughts of Kristi and Robert's first interview here.

I had not seen this viral video, but I was shocked by this story. Are you?
Do you notice the little boy's demeanor is very reminiscent of a much older man?
Update 8/5/2010: After giving this some thought, I wonder if this little boy has a disease that makes him look younger than he actually is.

Kiesha Abrahams is a six-year old girl who went missing, according to her mom, this past Saturday from a Sydney suburb. According to Kristi Abrahams and her partner Robert Smith, they put Kiesha to bed and in the morning when they awoke, she was gone.
I see a lot of red flags in this video.
What concerns me is the mother appears to be hiding behind her sunglasses and tissue. Why does she feel the need to hide?
Another big red flag for me is the mother's lack of hope that she will find her daughter alive. She seems utterly hopeless. Why isn't she holding out any hope? When this video was shot, it was only three days out...
Furthermore, her crying doesn't feel genuine to me. Why aren't any tears running down her cheeks? Her sunglasses wouldn't stop this from happening. And if she was crying that hard, she would have a need to blot her eyes so she could see, but she never does.
Kristi also cries at strategic times, if you notice. Watch her and you will hear her stop "crying" to listen to her partner or the reporter speak. A distraught mother would is truly broken up could careless what a reporter says. Or if she did "care", she would speak speak up herself to make sure she got the right messages out there, but she doesn't. I just get this distinct feeling she is listening because she wants to know if people are suspicious of her. It's very unusual behavior.
Robert, the boyfriend, also talks about Kiesha in past tense. He said, "She was always happy...loved playing." This may or may not be a clue to deception. I have seen honest people do this, but it is usually after a long period of time, not just a couple of days. He also doesn't look at the media or project any hope that Kiesha is okay. You get a sense it is hard for him to look at the reporters, and he is not a shy guy by nature. It's odd behavior for his personality type.
Robert says, "It gets harder by the minute." This surprises me. I would think everything about Kiesha missing would be hell on earth. I don't think things would get harder than they are, unless they got negative news that suggested she wasn't okay. I am not involved in the investigation to know if this fits or not. But if it doesn't, than I would want to know what got harder? Why have they given up hope when everyone is supporting them and searching for her? Are things getting harder because people are honing in on them?
In looking for this video, I found this one below as well which doesn't bode well for Kiesha. Ten News is reporting that there were no clothes of Keisha at her mom's house and that no one has seen Kiesha in weeks. Nothing at this point supports a good outcome in this case. I believe Kristi and Robert know a lot more than they are telling us...
Thanks to Lou and Dee for pointing this story out to me.

Chelsea Clinton wed Marc Mezvinsky this past Saturday in a stately affair on a property that overlooked the Hudson River in New York.
I peered at that photos to see the emotions of the newly wedded couple, and what I see is interesting. Chelsea is absolutely happy and smitten with Marc in the photos released to the media. There is no doubt about that! Marc, however, appears to be a bit reserved. His happiness doesn't match the happiness and bliss we see in Chelsea, at least in these photos. Was Marc just overwhelmed with the ceremony? Is that what is holding back his emotions?
Is this wedded bliss, or does one of these two have a little reservation? They have my interest piqued! I'll be interested to see more of these two in the coming months.
Marc looks happy here, but not overwhelmed with joy like we see in Chelsea. She is giddy in this photo.
