Here is a man who is serious and intent in getting his message across, do you think? Either that, or he has a dislike for cameras pointed at him. This expression is similar to the expression made by Melky Cabrera on Wednesday (though it has less tension and isn't quite as threatening). We see glaring in the eyes, and a pursed lips. You know the old saying, "If looks could kill..."

If you see someone make this expression to you in public, they are giving you a strong message to back off, and I would heed their facial warning, without question. This is not a friendly face.

Dr. Maureen O'Sullivan's Speech: Part Three
  by Eyes at 9:43 AM

Dr. O'Sullivan talks about how wizards can't get objectivity in their personal lives.

For me, there are times when I am unable to be objective because I am emotional and I have to work to overcome it, but my ability is by no means flat-lined in my personal life. I find I can get objectivity, if I continually look in the mirror and stay honest with myself, and I work to remove any emotional bias I may feel, if I am seeking the truth. Sometimes that is hard for me to do when it involves matters of the heart. I have to work extra hard at it, but it is something I am very conscious of. If someone is not conscious of these two elements, I could see how it could affect their personal life.

I think the wizards are no different than other people in this respect. Anyone who struggles to look in the mirror and who can't delineate their emotions will face difficulties in their inner circle because they can't see the truth. What do you think?

Dr. Maureen O'Sullivan's Speech: Part Two
  by Eyes at 8:43 AM

Dr. O'Sullivan talks about how people who lie to their friends are less accurate in lie detection. I found this fascinating and it supports what I see in life. The more a person deludes themselves and others, the more removed from reality they become, and the more difficulty they will have in seeing the truth. It's a good reason to be honest, if you ask me.

One audience member asks if any Truth Wizards have admitted to lying a lot themselves. I am perplexed that so many people ask this type of question, as if because we can see lies, we are good at lying. It's mortifying really. This question comes up a lot!

Dr. O'Sullivan said it best when she said, "Actually, they are extremely honest people...I think as people they try to live their life in a very principled way...they value honesty."

Stay tuned for Part 3 tomorrow. Thank you, Russ, for the links.

In Memory of Dr. Maureen O'Sullivan
  by Eyes at 10:04 PM

I received unexpected and sad news today that Dr. Maureen O'Sullivan, the researcher who conducted the Wizards Project, which identified the 50 known Truth Wizards, passed away on May 10, 2010.

Dr. O'Sullivan and I met in 2006 when she came to visit me after I passed the "truth wizard" tests. She wanted to conduct further research on the project by studying what made me come to the conclusions I come to. I have fond memories of our time together and I snapped this photo so I could always remember the visit.

I value Dr. O'Sullivan's contribution to science as it changed the direction of my life. She has left a lasting impact on me, and I hope her work is carried forward, as I believe it is very valuable to all people. Thank you, Dr. O'Sullivan, for all of your work. I hope one day, through hard work of my own, that I can leave behind something that touches people lives as deeply as you have.

Horrifying 911 Call: Mother Talks of Killing Kids

A mother describes to the 911 operator how she killed her two kids, and how she wants "normal" children instead. She says it matter-of-factly without any emotion whatsoever. It is beyond chilling to hear someone who has no ability to feel normal emotions, talk about something so horrific. Those poor children. I can't even fathom it. I don't want to.

I warn you this call is hard to listen to.

My Thoughts: Linda Dolloff's 911 Call
  by Eyes at 11:14 AM

When I listen to Linda Dolloff in the 911 call, these are my thoughts:
  1. I am amazed at how calm she is when she waits to the 911 operator start to speaking.

  2. I find when the 911 operator says what is your emergency, Linda doesn't say someone tried to kill me! Or say someone just shot me! There is a stranger in my house! Help! Usually in emergencies, people give the most important details first. However, deceptive people often want to play down the important details so they don't look suspicious, so other people can draw their own conclusions (hopefully reaching the RIGHT one), because it is hard to say an affirmative statement that is a lie.

  3. I immediately noticed that Linda says quite loudly and without any fear, "Somebody's in my house." She also says it TWICE. If someone is in her house, why isn't she afraid he may come find her and kill her?? This is flat out inconsistent. We all have survival instincts, and hers aren't kicking in, I suspect, for a reason.

  4. The way Linda says, "Somebody's in my house" sounds like a whine to me. Listen to the end pronunciation how it drags as she says it. It's notable.

  5. Why wouldn't she give the police her numerical address? I would do that if I was worried, so I left nothing to chance. I would want the police there immediately. Does she hope this will stall them? Even if she is the only house on the street, why not be sure they don't make an error?

  6. When the dispatcher says how do you know someone is in your house, it almost sounds like Linda laughs! Did you notice? She also doesn't answer the question. A person in grave danger with a true intruder would know immediately why they suspect someone is in the house. This is flat out inconsistent. Linda says, "Oh god. I don't know. My husband's not responding." That makes absolutely no sense!

  7. Then it appears she remembers what she wanted to say, "He shot me, he shot me" as an "afterthought". Would you forget if someone shot you? It seems plausible to me that you might forget that you were shot, if you staged something and were "recreating the events," however.

We are only 15 seconds into this call, mind you. Lots of red flags...

  8. The dispatcher is totally taken back by Linda's statement "He shot me." He says "What?" This makes sense. Most people don't forget to leave one of the most important details out! Most people, if they believed they were shot and can't see, would typically fear they could die from their injuries, but not Linda. She seems to have no concern about her injuries, which I find very peculiar.

  9. When the dispatcher asks Linda if her husband shot her, she says very strangely "No, no! My husband, he is not answering me." How could she be sure it wasn't her husband? This is notable for me. Most people would say "I don't know who shot me. It's dark! I need help."

  10. Linda never says she needs help, to get an ambulance, that she's hurt. Why? Does she not want to draw attention to herself? This is very unusual.

  11. Linda's crying in the background of the call when the dispatcher is relaying what he thinks happened to EMT sounds like a resigned cry, as if she is mourning something. When people cry in fear and panic, it is a very different cry.

  12. The EMT man asks her, "What happened". Linda says she doesn't know. She doesn't know?? This is nonsense. She goes on to set her stage, again, if you ask me. She says, "I heard noises. I came down the hall. This loud bang and he dropped, somebody went... I don't know, my husband, I haven't...." If someone asked a shooting victim what just happened, and they knew they were shot, I would suspect the majority of them would say I was shot, and then give details.

The fact Linda is so sparse on details flags me. Think of the reverse. If you staged something, it is hard to create details for something you didn't experience.

  13. Linda also leaves off pronouns "...this loud bang". She doesn't say I heard this loud bang.

  14. Linda also says, "He dropped..." Then she says, "somebody went". If she thinks this is a guy, she should stick to "he", but she is changing her references, which is also inconsistent.

  15. The way she screams, "I don't know". It's pure frustration. Why is she frustrated instead of scared? Why doesn't she just admit, "I'm so confused", if she is confused. She doesn't tell us how she is feeling at all. Most people in her situation would be saying how scared they are. Not Linda.

  16. Linda says, "I crawled to the bedroom. I called and he's not answering. He's gurgling."

She tells us she did this before she called. No worry about an intruder, is there? She called many times without any concern of the intruder...Hmmm... If you heard your husband gurgling, would you make a 911 call in another room and just sit there listening, or would you go help him? Linda was on the phone with 911 for nearly 3 minutes, where she could have helped Jeff, but she didn't.

  17. When the dispatcher asks if anyone is still there, Linda now says she doesn't think so...her dog would be barking. Really? Why didn't her dog barks alert her when the guy was there originally?? Did she ever talk of a dog bark?

  18. When the dispatcher tells her an ambulance is on the way, she has no urgency. She has no concern for her gurgling husband, does she? She doesn't say hurry, get here quickly. My husband sounds like he is dying!! No, she doesn't.

  19. It's chilling to hear her sob "What do I do now?" I think most people would crawl to their husband to see if he is alive and if they can do anything.

  20. The dispatcher asks, "Did you see anything at all?" Linda replies, "It's dark. It's dark. It's dark." Why hasn't she turned on the lights at this point?? Did she call 911 in the dark? Were there any lights on when the police arrived?

  21. The dispatcher continues, "Did you see anything?" Linda says, "No, just like, I don't know. I don't know." You get the sense Linda doesn't want to give any details here. It's like she was going to and then she changed her mind. Why would she be guarded if she is a victim?

  22. Linda says, "What about my husband?" As if she has no responsibility to reach out to him... She heard him gurgling. She couldn't have been that far away.

  23. You hear Linda in the 911 call call out to Jeff. "Jeff?....Jeff?" Why is she calling out to him instead of trying to get to him to help him in any way she can? It takes her almost 3 minutes into the call for her to go to him. We finally here her say, "Oh m god, are you alright?" I think most people would realize when someone is gurgling, they are not alright.

Linda and Jeff Dolloff on ABC 20/20
  by Eyes at 2:29 PM

Part One of ABC's 20/20 on the Linda & Jeff Dolloff Story

I just watched Friday night's 20/20 story about Linda and Jeff Dolloff. Linda tells the story of how she was shot in her hallway and never saw the person who did this her. She didn't even hear the person who did it. Oddly, her husband was attacked with a baseball bat and he suffered severe injuries. Linda believes it was an intruder. Jeff doesn't remember anything.

The crime happened April 11, 2009, and Linda Dolloff was convicted this May on charges she tried to kill her husband, aggravated assault and filing a false report. Her attorney, last week, has now filed for a new trial. It's a fascinating case.

In my opinion, Linda Dolloff's behavioral and circumstantial evidence were overwhelming.

Here are my thoughts as I watched the show:
  1. Linda Dolloff says, "I heard from nondescript noises, nothing that seemed alarming to me. I walked down the hall, heard a loud bang, um...experienced some pain, fell, I saw movement and that’s all. When I opened my eyes, there was a gun in front of me on the floor. I reached for the gun made contact with it, it fired, it scared me, I dropped it. Certainly my husband would be here (shoulder shrug), I called out to him. "

How often do you walk down a dark hallway at night with your eyes closed? Anyone?

  2. Linda's statement has elements out of order. She says, "I saw moment and that's all. When I opened my eyes...." How can you see movement with your eyes closed? When people remember things like this, they typically remember things how they occurred.

  3. When Linda recalls the shooting ordeal, she has no emotions. If you didn't know any better, you'd think she was talking about walking to the mailbox or something inane. It's very notable.

  4. What intruder/killer shoots a victim and drops the gun in front of his victim--especially if he doesn't know if he killed them?

  5. I find Linda's lack of details very notable here. We don't get any memory recall about what she was thinking or feeling, she only gives us action-oriented details. She never talks about fear or anything, not even after she was shot. That's very notable to me.

  6. After Linda says she called out to her husband, Jim Avila says, “What were you calling him, Linda?” She replies, "I absolutely don’t remember. I had to get to the phone. I had to get help." She doesn't remember any details that here? You would think after she realized she was shot, she would have had a lot of emotions and feelings running through her and she would share some of that, but she doesn't remember much, and shows no emotions. It flags me.

  7. Isn't it fascinating if she was shot, she doesn't wonder where this shooter went, if he/she is waiting there still to ambush her again? It's strangely missing! She has no normal fears whatsoever. These are huge, blaring red flags!

Jim Avila says, “An unseen attacker in the night. Her husband bleeding in his bed unable to speak."

  8. If it was dark, or she had her eyes closed, how come she didn't wonder if her husband shot her by mistake? How did she not know it wasn't her husband who shot her? Also if you fire a gun at night, doesn't it produce light in the form of a flash? Didn't she see the explosion from the gun? Even if her eyes were closed, she should still see the bright flash in the dark.

  9. When I listen to the segments of Linda’s 911 call played during the show, and watch Linda speak, I do not hear or see any expressions of fear that support what she is saying. On the 911 call, she sounds like she is whining, which is very notable to me.

  10. Listen to her call out Jeff's name. Why isn't she worried the intruder/killer isn't going to come back for her?

  11. If Linda believed an intruder was in the house who was trying to kill her, why wouldn't she be covert in calling 911? Do you notice she doesn't keep her voice low? She seems to have no fear he might come back and get her. She says in what sounds like a loud voice, “Somebody in the house. Somebody’s in my house.” If you feared for your life, which she should have, would you do this?

  12. In the 911 call the operator says, “Did you see anything at all?” She cries out in a whine, “It’s dark. It’s dark. It’s dark. I just saw movement.” I have to ask then how did she see the gun laying there, but not the guy who shot her running away? Once she realized she was shot, wouldn't she then tune in to noises? It could save her life, if she was truly in trouble, don't you think?

  13. Why didn't she hear the shooter drop the gun? Does she want us to believe he just gently placed it there?

  14. When the operators says, “Are you hurt?” She says, “I heard a bang. I’m bleeding.”
Didn't she figure out she was shot? She said that to 20/20. Why doesn't she say that in the 911 call?

  15. It's interesting the police dog never found any scent outside to support an intruder.

  16. What killer goes into a house on a holiday weekend with five cars in the driveway?

  17. When Jeff calls Linda after he recovers a bit, I find it strange how she says, “Can I come see you?” Hasn't she been visiting him? Would you have to ask your spouse if you could come see him? It's insane.

  18. When Jeff asks what happened, Linda says, “I was shot. I don’t know what happened to you specifically.” This seems to suggest Linda didn't care to find out what happened to Jeff. If you were a victim, wouldn't you want to know all the details so you could try to figure it out. Were the police keeping information from her or did she not care enough to find out?

  19. When Jeff says to Linda, “Why would (A) they beat me with a baseball bat, and shoot you with my gun?” She replies with anger, “I have no friggin’ idea.” Why would she be angry at him for asking that question, if she was totally innocent? Wouldn't she want to know to?

  20. Jim Avila asks Linda “Are you incapable of a violent act?” Watch how Linda responds. Her head goes all over from no to yes to no. It's highly notable. I suspect her conscious and unconscious were battling there in the communication.

  21. I believe Jeff when he tells us there is enough of a light source where Linda says she was shot and she says she couldn’t see. He said there was an outside light. I believe him.

  22. What murderer is going to go into a house with no weapons and dig for a bat in the garage and find Jeff’s gun in his bedroom and use different weapons on each person? It’s a complete joke.

  23. When police tell Linda Jeff thinks she may have had something to do with the attacks, she doesn’t act surprised at all. She doesn't get mad. She stays calm, cool and collected. It doesn’t fit to me at all. If she is innocent, she should be outraged, mad, concerned, frustrated—anything but a calm, collected response! Why isn't she saying, "You've got the wrong person. I am innocent"?

  24. Linda says about the time she was first confronted by people thinking she did it, “I guess I didn’t want to accept the fact that somebody could think I was capable of doing such an act.” Isn’t interesting she never says anything about her innocence? That they have the wrong person? When you know you are involved, you don’t think like that, do you?

  25. Linda says she wasn’t bitter at all about the way things were ending between her and Jeff. Yet she completely contradicts herself as she tells us, she had a dinner with him that night, they took a bath, and had sex.

At one point in the conversation with Avila, she says, "The door was not completely shut" when talking about their status--which I think most people would take to interpret, she still hoped to win him back. She can't have it both ways.

I do believe Linda was jealous that Jeff told her he was going to bring another woman home the following week to survey his life and she if she wanted to share it with him. Linda was mad she was asked to move out. Linda, in my opinion, wasn't going to have any part of it.

  26. When the forensics were done with the gun and residue, Jim Avala talks about the “bright muzzle flash” when the gun is fired and how come Linda has no memory of this?
I listened to the 911 call, too, and I hear nothing that supports honesty.

"How to read eyes for lies"
  by Eyes at 11:29 AM

CLOSE UP LEFT EYE 8 Y/O CONSTRICTED PUPIL

In my inbox this morning from Google was an interesting article. Google alerts me to all things "Eyes for Lies". It was an article titled "How to read eyes for lies" from the UK's The Independent.

Check it out. They mention my blog! How cool is that?

 Dateline, Daren, and Dave Tonight
  by Eyes at 9:05 AM

Tonight Dateline NBC will be updating the story of Dave Hawk, who I first wrote about in May of 2007. Daren Matteson, a lead homicide investigator on the case, found my post after watching the show and contacted me. He was surprised at my insight on the case since I knew nothing about it and only saw what Dateline profiled.

Daren and I have since gotten to know one another and I have followed this case with Daren as it developed. Last summer, Dave Hawk was convicted of murdering his wife, though his wife's body was never found, and he was sentenced to life in prison.

Daren wrote a comment for my website, if you haven't seen it:
Several years ago, I met "Eyes for Lies" after she profiled one of my homicide cases. At that time, the case had not been to court so I was not able to give many details here.

That changed when David Hawk was found guilty of killing his ex-wife, Debbie Hawk, for financial gain. In California, that mandates a life without parole sentence. Dave is now a resident of the state corrections system.

I would again like to say what a direct hit "Eyes" had for the facts in this case. Her only source of information at that time was an interview she saw of Dave Hawk on Dateline NBC regarding Debbie's disappearance. Debbie's body has never been found.

I feel that someone with this natural gift is far better than anyone who has training.

I've been in Law Enforcement for almost 30 years and would love to have met "Eyes" when I was rookie. Her talent and ability to explain the minute details she spots in deceptive people would have allowed me to put more bad guys in jail.

If Eyes for Lies tells you someone is being deceptive, believe her!

Thanks again for all your help.

With great respect,
Daren Matteson
Hanford PD
I hope you'll tune into Dateline tonight to see all the developments in this case since Dateline last profiled it. You will get to see Daren, too! You can read my original thoughts of Dave Hawk here.

Cindy looks like she is on some relaxant medication and Casey is very focused on hearing everything that is going on. I don't think we've ever seen her be so attentive!

Cindy says in her testimony, "I still think Caylee is alive"...What do you make of that?

Thanks, Karon and News Junkie for the link!

Hearing in Anthony Case over 911 Calls
  by Eyes at 11:13 AM

There is a court hearing today in the Casey Anthony murder case. Casey's defense team will argue with the court to not allow Cindy Anthony's 911 calls in trial, because they say they are hearsay.

It is possible that Casey's brother, Lee, and her mother, Cindy, could be called to testify.

I do believe Cindy Anthony meant everything she said in these 911 calls and I believe what she said at the time to be true, as much as I believe she is in denial now. Cindy, today, can't accept that she smelled the decay of her own precious granddaughter's body.

 Mel Gibson's Audio Tapes
  by Eyes at 9:30 AM

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

An expert on the Today show analyzed the audio tapes of Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, to see if they were in any way doctored, and he does not agree with Gibson's attorney, that these tapes are doctored. He believes they are authentic. It will be interesting to watch this all play out.

Clearly, Mel Gibson, in these audio tapes in ranting like an insane lunatic. He has serious anger issues, absolutely no respect for himself or his ex at this point, which no one can mistake. He is likely dangerous to be around in this state of mind, and any threats he makes should be taken seriously. He has lost control. Anyone can see this. The tone of Gibson's voice is enough to cause anyone alarm.

When Grigorieva says to Mel, "What kind of man is that? Hitting a woman when she is holding a child in her hands? Breaking her teeth twice in the face. What kind of man is that?" and Mel doesn't respond with denial, it supports Grigorieva here. Gibson says instead, "Oh, you're all angry now... You F****** deserved it." By that response, Gibson is confirming his outrageous behavior, sadly. He tells us what the truth is. If this was a lie, he would have responded differently.

Gibson does say that Grigorieva knows how to push his buttons, and I absolutely believe both of these two pushed each others buttons or things would have never escalated like they did. That's what causes a relationship melt down like this and once a relationship hits this level, it can never be repaired. It's permanent and irrevocably destroyed. I shudder when people who reach these levels attempt to rebuild their relationship. It will never, ever happen. If only people would realize this.

I find Gibson's behavior sick and disturbing as I am sure everyone else does. He needs help!

Bob Briede, Gym Owner, Talks about Terri
  by Eyes at 3:34 PM

Gym owner, Bob Briede, who owns Extreme Edge Fitness, the gym where Kaine Horman works out, said to Fox news that he saw Terri Horman at the gym acting suspiciously. He called her "stone-faced". Briede said that Terri approached a woman at the childcare center and said some alarming things, which prompted him to call police.

Briebe says to Fox, "Her behavior was definitely suspicious and I felt it justified making a phone call to the authorities...Her behavior was just odd."

Fox also reports that investigators are now searching the area around Skyline school again.

Thanks, Karon, for the story! Karon spends a lot of time helping out with the blog. Please thank her for her time and contribution. Things wouldn't be the same without her!

Today Show: Latest Recap on Kyron Horman
  by Eyes at 1:08 PM

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

We get our first look at Michael Cook in this video, though I can't say much except that I get a sense that he is an easy-going, laid back guy. If Terri flirted him, he probably was lured in by it, sadly. You have to wonder did Terri make Michael feel sorry for her?

I found the statement made by the retired investigator interesting. He said, "If Terri Horman is the girl next door, you live in a pretty creepy neighborhood."

Christine (Francisco) Carter on ABC Tonight
  by Eyes at 9:50 PM

I see that Christine (Francisco) Carter is on ABC Primetime tonight. I haven't had a chance to watch it, but I will be curious to do so.

I so wish the old videos were up of her during the "high stakes scenario," because I found her behavior very particular. If she is talking about this all now after the fact, she will come across as a very different person.

I found this one, where Greta says, "Did you get the sense that anything unusual was going on in his life?" Listen to Christine's response. She holds back laughter when she replies, "Not at all." When she continues, notice how normal she acts, like she is talking about a PTA meeting or something. "He sounded so excited to come home, and he was ready to go with the cookies."

Yet Nick told us when he was found that at that time he was suicidal. One plus one doesn't add up. You don't live with a man who is suicidal and think he was happy and fine. I just don't buy it.

Read my thoughts of Christine at the time Nick had disappeared and my thoughts when Nick was found.

 Singer Jewel Dupes Her Audience
  by Eyes at 11:17 AM

I saw this video on Celebitchy today. Singer Jewel went under cover for "Funny or Die" and went to a karaoke bar as a demure business woman, dressed in a suit. "Funny or Die" wanted to see if she could sing and fool the audience! She showed up at the bar with some "friends" who called her Karen, and it was her friends who cheered her on and got the bar to cheer her on to the stage. In the video, you see this little awkward woman who looks timid and shy grab the microphone, unsure of herself.

But when Karen starts to sing, her timidness and shyness fall to the floor, and she becomes free as a bird, and soars. She plays with the audience, and really belts it out--which should have made people question her. Little Ms. Karen, if she had no experience, wouldn't do this. It was a big clue to the truth! Her demeanor before singing and her actions on stage are at complete odds. I know that would have thrown me to the floor in disbelief. My antenna would have gone into active mode.

You've got to laugh at the guy who says when he saw Karen sitting with three people, "She's kind of homely looking, then when she started singing, god, she's so sexy how she's dancing!" He later says he thought Karen sang better than Jewel, unaware the two were the same person.

At the end, I was shocked that the people didn't put it together that Jewel and Karen were the same. Hello! What would the odds be that a woman named Karen would sing just like Jewel and Jewel happened to show up and Karen was gone? Didn't people look for Karen to see her response? I sure would have. That would have been the most fascinating to me, if I was still in the dark. If I hadn't figured it at first, I would have when I searched for Karen and couldn't find her!

Would you have figured it out?

I think after I heard "Karen" belt out her tune with such confidence, I would have been at her friends feet saying, "Come on! Admit it, she isn't Karen, she is Jewel" and I would have watched their faces try to conceal it and I would have known. I approach strangers when I have questions like this. I'm not shy to do so.

How about you? What would you have thought or done?

I was once at the Miami airport and there were these guys standing around with tons of equipment outside the check-in doors. People started clamoring, maybe it was Spyro Gyra. I was like, "Who are they?" The chatter became intense and I said, "If you want to know, ask them" and people looked at me like no way, so I walked up and asked them and they said yes they were. I was like, 'Thanks". They looked at me funny, but at least it wasn't a mystery anymore!

 What type are you?
  by Eyes at 9:58 AM

Beakers filled with colorful liquids

Yesterday while reading the morning news, I ran into an article on Twitter about how our writing reveals our personalities. I thought it was cool, so I wrote a post about it and then asked you what you could discern about me from my writing. I was quite impressed how accurately my writing reveals my personality, though I have to say I am not surprised (see the comment section to the link above). Thanks for participating!

"CannedAm" wrote that she found the Typealyzer from the article. It's a tool that determines your personality from your blog, much like the article I wrote about. She ran my blog through it and reported back that it came back as "The Scientists". I quickly went to see the results for myself.

If you write online, check it out and tell us what you find. Is it accurate for you?

I was surprised to see what "The Scientists" meant. Here is what the Typealyzer says about my blog:
The long-range thinking and individualistic type. They are especially good at looking at almost anything and figuring out a way of improving it - often with a highly creative and imaginative touch. They are intellectually curious and daring, but might be physically hesitant to try new things.

The Scientists enjoy theoretical work that allows them to use their strong minds and bold creativity. Since they tend to be so abstract and theoretical in their communication they often have a problem communicating their visions to other people and need to learn patience and use concrete examples. Since they are extremely good at concentrating they often have no trouble working alone.
But more interesting is that it said I was an INTJ through my writing, though the website says writing style doesn't always correlate to personality. But ironically, for me, it does, which was an even bigger kick. I am being true to myself when I write this blog. When I was much younger and at a job full-time, the company I worked for had their employees take the Briggs-Myers test and I scored out at an ENTJ. In reading both, I still think I am an ENTJ--with a slight blend of INTJ.

Just something silly and fun for the day. Now I am back to work!!

Kaine Wants Terri Held in Contempt of Court
  by Eyes at 5:23 PM

There seems to be a lot going on in the Kyron Horman case today--more trouble for Terri. Kaine Horman filed a court motion for contempt, asking the court to hold Terri Horman in contempt of court. She has apparently shared sealed court documents with people when she was forbid to do so.

In the motion filed today, Kaine has been informed by law enforcement that Terri has been having an affair with a high school friend of Kaine, named Michael Cook. The court document says that Terri showed court documents, which contained Kaine's new residence to Cook and had him take cell phone pictures of them. According to records, Cook then used the information to search for Kaine's current address on Google.

Kaine also learned according to the motion that was filed today that Terri is in a sexual relationship with Michael Cook. The motions says that LE backs this as they have had interviews with Cook himself.

Was is disturbing is the police have supporting materials including "Respondent [Terri Horman] in various stages of undress and graphic sexual activity" from Cook.

Police have told Kaine's attorney that Terri's behavior is similar to how she treated the landscaper in the murder-for-hire plot...The motion says, "sexual overtures to Mr. Cook resemble those man to a man Respondent previously attempted to hire to murder Petitioner."

It gets even more disturbing. Terri looked to abduct Kiara from the daycare gym when Kaine worked out.

Click here to read the court motion. You can also read a news story here.

 Terri Horman and Postpartum Psychosis?
  by Eyes at 12:13 PM

Could postpartum psychosis be the reason Terri Horman has behaved the way she has? It's certainly an interesting question. According to Louann Brizendine, a neuropsychiatrist, out of the 10 or 20 women develop postpartum depression, one in a 1000 mothers go on to develop this serious mental illness of psychosis, where they lose touch with reality.

 Bloggers Personalities and Their Words
  by Eyes at 11:45 AM

Man speaking with his hand

Do you believe you can identify someone's personality from their words?

Tal Yarkoni, a doctoral graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder, did an interesting study on bloggers and how their words revealed their personality. You can read a post about this on the Research Digest Blog, from the British Psychological Society, titled, "The links between bloggers' personalities and their use of words."

So, what do you know about my personality? What can you tell me about me from my words and my blog?

 Billy Wayne Cope Confessions

Dateline NBC ran the story of Billy Wayne Cope, who confessed multiple times to killing his daughter, though the stories he gave never corroborated evidence at the scene.

Dateline shares his confessions here.

Dateline: The Mystery in Rock Hill
  by Eyes at 10:30 PM

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

I just finished watching the story of Billy Wayne Cope on Dateline, which aired last night. All I can say is what a tragedy!! This man has been severely railroaded, and I completely disagree with the verdict in this case. I will definitely add this to cases that I disagree with.

I have a need to reach out to the people who have come to Billy Wayne Cope's rescue to see if there is anything I can do. I hope they get this verdict thrown out.

People need to realize there are false confessions and from my understanding of human behavior, Bill Wayne Cope fits perfectly with a man who would do this.

I did not see any indications that Billy Wayne Cope murdered his daughter, and DNA supports this.

I will be looking into this case further, time permitting.

Terri Horman on Camera: Avoiding Questions
  by Eyes at 10:19 AM

It's amazing how much our body language communicates, isn't it? Terri's behavior and body language tells us a lot, and has from the very first press conference we saw her, even though she has never spoken a word publicly.

I am amazed at how strong Terri is acting in the face of all the adversity. She doesn't show any emotions whatsoever when questioned by the reporter who probes her for information. She tries to hide behind the woman she is with, but that is about it.

For her to be so emotionless after her daughter has been taken away, she has been accused of a murder-for-hire plot, and she has people still squarely looking at her in the disappearance of Kyron Horman, she has to have nerves and a resolve of steel not to leak any emotions or to lash back at the media. You have to wonder at this point, if she even feels emotions at all to be so flat lined. I am blown away by her behavior here.

When we see her walk away to the elevator in the parking garage, she holds her head high as she walks, did you notice? I almost get the feeling she thinks she can beat this, yet when I look for any signs of arrogance, I don't see any, which is baffling. Could she just think she is smart enough to get herself out of all of this?

Both Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron's biological parents, are publicly stating now that Terri Horman has failed two polygraphs. Terri is fascinating to watch, even when she doesn't say a word.

Reporter Asks Kaine: Were there red flags?
  by Eyes at 8:22 AM

Kyron Horman's parents share details about their son, the search and Terri Moulton Horman

A reporter asks Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, missing boy and biological parents to Kyron, if there were red flags with Terri Horman, Kaine's second wife, and they both respond yes.

Desiree Young tells us that when she talked to Terri the day Kyron went missing, things didn't seem right to her. She had a motherly intuition that something was wrong.

Kaine said, "In the natural course of actions, she (Terri) was separating herself. I don't think it was purposefully, but it was just apparent..."

Desiree says, "This is the stuff you write in novels. This is not our life. It's just a little boy. I just don't understand it."

I think Desiree is distancing herself from Kyron because she refers to Kyron as, "It's just a little boy." It doesn't flag me in any way with deception. It just clues me in how she is coping with this nightmare.

The reporter asks Desiree what is was like when Terri was hugging both of them in the first presser, when she had these suspicions, and Desiree replies, "Extremely frustrating, um, its hard for me because I am not really a fake person. What you see is...I wear my emotions and I don't have a face I put on for other people... It's extremely difficult to stand next to somebody you know is lying about your son and where he is."

I personally do not believe that Kaine was suspicious of Terri during the first press conference (which I wasn't sure of at that time). I think it took him more time to come around, but that would absolutely be expected. He was much more emotionally invested in "his family unit".

Several people have commented that Kaine is not very emotional. It doesn't strike me as unusual for "him". I do think he has been through the war with all that is going on, and he has found his rock in Desiree, his ex-wife, who is there for him and supporting him. I suspect both Desiree and Tony Young have been kind to Kaine, which is amazing. Many ex-wives would resent their ex-husband for putting them in this position, but Desiree seems to have a compassionate and kind heart. Kaine is lucky for that. He has a compassionate shoulder to lean on.

 Matt Baker's Jailhouse Interview
  by Eyes at 10:04 PM

Matt Baker gave a jailhouse interview on June 8 to KXVV.com.

Matt Baker interview with KXVV.com

Karon, an Eyes for Lies reader, and contributor this blog, made a fascinating statement when this first aired. Karon wrote in the comment section:
Matt gives himself away in this interview. He says that her death was either suicide or a mixture of alcohol and meds. He must have forgotten, there was a typed suicide note? If he didn't type the note himself, and if he was innocent, he should be absolutely certain that it was a suicide. A person doesn't leave a suicide note with an accidental death caused by a mixture of alcohol and meds. He is just throwing ideas out there and hoping one sticks. He knows he killed her and typed the suicide note.
Superb catch, Karon!

I have analyzed this case since 2008 and Matt Baker gave away many, many clues to his deceit. Click on the labels to read my thoughts on this case. I analyzed the 911 call, the suicide note, and multiple interviews by Matt Baker.

Did you see all the subtle expressions of joy (duper's delight) that Matt made in the 20/20 show tonight? It was chilling. Matt loved playing people and getting away with it up until the very end, and he continued to show duper's delight in his interview with Jim Avila after he was sentenced.

Matt is a scary man.
